Why We Do What We Do
Everyday, we hear about animals getting abused and neglected, and it's time for us to step forward and help the horror end. Animals deserve the best, just like us humans do; they're just like us except with fur. Animals, along with humans, have a heart beat and feelings. They know they are being abused and neglected, and they can feel the pain inside and out. Their hearts ache, just wanting an escape and someone to rescue them. It's not fair to them, for they have to live with the pain every single day of their lives. It's time for us to make a difference.
Awesomely, the Humane Society provides shelter to the animals that don't have anyone to love them and care for them, and not a home to feel safe and secure in. Unfortunately, the Humane Society does not have enough room for every suffering animal, so they have to, sadly, put some down for a long, long, rest. A group and I, are hosting this Pawsitive Walk to show the animals that we do, indeed, love and support them, and that we are here for them through the good times and the bad. We are hoping to raise enough support for the Humane Society, that they are able to build more shelters for the animals that they don't, currently, have room for.
Obviously, individuals who harm animals, in any way, have a heart made of stone, so let the rest of us use our golden hearts to make a difference; save the poor, innocent, animals.
